Throughout the world, millions of young girls are forced into marriage. It has been outlawed in many countries but it’s still practiced through tradition and spans continents, religions, and classes.

This exhibition is about Stephanie Sinclair, she documents conflicts with child marriage, gender, and human rights issues around the world. The visual story captures the moments of the physical and emotional tolls it takes on these people.

Create an exhibition catalog about a topic of your choosing.

Approach:

I have always been passionate and intrigued by National Geographic photography. As I was exploring National Geographic I discovered a nonprofit called Too Young to Wed. Although this topic is heavy topic I did not want to shy away from it. Designing this catalog I chose to reflect on the thought-provoking power that this photography holds by using negative space, a humble typeface and big images.
